Godly wisdom is found on every page of the bible. Yet there is a unique draw we have to the book of Proverbs. We love the direct and practical teachings. We love taking its 31 chapters and turning them into a “chapter a day” devotion for the month. We love the “Proverbs 31 Woman!” How blessed we are to access in one place the riches of wisdom from such men as Solomon (1:1; 10:1), David (4:3-4), Agur (30:1) and other wise men (22:17; 24:23)? With such a wide range of topics it means this book covers nearly every aspect of life that all of us face. Insightful teachings shape how we are as husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, children, grandparents, employers, employees, friends, enemies, citizens, rulers, and much more. God put the book of Proverbs in the bible for us so that we would know wisdom and walk in its ways.
