If you are thinking of visiting on Sunday we would love to have you. Here is some helpful information before you come:
What time do your services start?
The Church service begins at 10:30am in the summer (June 7th through September 6th). Adult Bible Study cancelled during summer.
Where is your church located?
Where do I park?
The parking lot is behind the building when you pull in the drive. Along the building near the entrance we have designated parking marked by blue lines and green lines. Blue is for handicapped and Green is for guests, elderly, and families with small children.
Where do I enter the building?
Our entrance is on the south side of the building. From your parking space you will see an American Flag. Head there and follow the sidewalk to the south entrance.
Where do I take my kids?
For kids 5 years and under, once you enter through the south entrance take an immediate left. Go through the first door and up the stairs to the 2nd level. There you will be greeted by our friendly nursery team and can register your kids (preregister here).
Children 6 to 12 will go with you into the service. On alternating weeks they will leave right before the sermon to go upstairs for their own lesson. On the other weeks they will stay in the whole service with you. Click here to see the schedule of those weeks. We do this because we have come to see that kids benefit from being in the adult worship service.
Children 13 years and up stay in the whole service each week.
How do you keep my kids safe?
We take the safety of our children seriously. Each volunteer has a background check performed and receives training at least annually on our Safe Kids policies.
Can I preregister my kids for nursery before arriving?
Yes. Click here.
Do you have a Youth Group?
We do not offer a Youth Group. Our approach is different. You can read about it here.
Where are your restrooms?
Once you enter the building through the south entrance the restrooms will be the first two doors immediately on your right.
What do I wear?
We encourage a “come as you are” approach balanced with courtesy. We want you to be comfortable and not feel like you have to come in fancy clothes or be someone you’re not. At the same time we try to make sure we don’t make others uncomfortable with what we wear. So we encourage a reverence and respect for God when coming to church and try to avoid clothing that is too revealing or offensive.
What is the service like?
The service runs between 60 and 75 minutes long and includes singing 3-4 songs, prayer, reading Scripture, preaching and quiet reflection. Our music includes both old and new songs that range from upbeat to somber. The sermon is meant to be an in-depth study of the Bible yet very understandable.
What is the church life like here?
If you’re interested in trying more of what’s going on at EFC check out the Plug In page. Its a great way to see what life here is like.
I have questions about God, what do I do?
We want to help you discover those answers. As a matter of fact we consider this the most important thing we do. All the answers are found in the person of Jesus Christ. A good place to start is the Salvation page. An even better start is reaching out to our pastor with your questions.
Is there anything else I should know?
Yes! Two things. First, be sure to stop by the Information Desk and grab your Guest Gift. Also, please do NOT give when the offering is taken. You are our guest and we are glad you have chosen to visit with us.
For the Glory of God.
