Here are some ways to get involved with EFC

Sunday Service

Let us not give up meeting together…” (Hebrews 10:25a).  Sunday morning fellowship is the foundation of someone’s church commitment.  It is where the essentials of Christian fellowship occur:   preaching the Word, prayer, the Lord’s Table, worshipful singing, togetherness, and more.  Join us each week.

Adult Bible Study

Growing in the knowledge of God…” (Col. 1:10).  Take learning God’s Word to the next level with Adult Bible Study.  At 10am every Sunday morning we “teach deep” on interesting topics related to Christian living, theology, apologetics, hermeneutics, current issues,  and more.  Grab your Bible, a notebook and join us  (Summers off).

Prayer

“Pray continually” says 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We are serious about praying and urge you to be as well. Find out more here.

Kids Ministry

We believe kids are a blessing from God.  For kids up to 12 years we offer a fun and safe learning environment.  Our team loves kids and all volunteers are background checked and trained in our Safe Kids policies.

  • Kids 0-5 years are in nursery each week during the whole service.
  • Children 6 to 12 leave during the sermon on alternating weeks for their own lesson.  On the other weeks they will stay in the whole service with you.  Click here to see the schedule of those weeks.  We do this because we have come to see that kids benefit from being in the adult worship service.
  • Children 13 years and up stay in the whole service each week.
  • We do not have a youth group at EFC.  Learn more here.

If you’re thinking of visiting there is more info here.

Men’s Ministry

Every couple months the men gather at someone’s home for fun, food, prayer, and in-depth Bible study. An intensive men’s discipleship ministry has recently started. The men’s annual retreat is also a great time of encouragement and edification.  Watch the calendar for these events.

Women’s Ministry

Keep an eye on the calendar for the next time ladies plan a study or fellowship together.

Church Fun

Every month or so we plan a fellowship activity of some kind.  We may have a party after the service where adults mingle while kids run around, play in the bounce house, get their face painted, etc.   Everyone brings a dish and its a great time to hang out and connect with each other.  Other times we may plan dinners where small groups meet at various host homes for a night of hanging out.  Ideas are always popping up so watch the calendar to catch the next fun event.

Memorization Plans

Join us in memorizing through a book of the Bible each year. Currently we are memorizing 2 Corinthians 4 and 5. Each week we recite the verses together in the service.
