“Everything has its price”. Ever heard that one? It means that anything can be bought. For the right price.
Did you know you can buy your salvation?
Of course, you can’t buy it with money though. And you can’t buy it with your good works. Or your charity, your integrity, your moral living or anything like that. The Bible says God won’t accept any of these in return for saving your soul. There is only one thing you have that God wants. If you give it to Him, then He will give you eternal life.
What is it?
It’s your trust. Faith is the only currency He is accepting in exchange for your soul.
Too many people are trusting in themselves to be good enough and they think that is what God will accept. But He won’t. God is holy and He demands a death-payment from you for your sins. But, because God loves you, He sent Jesus into the world to pay your death payment on the cross. There is no amount of good works or religion you can do to “buy” your salvation. Jesus already bought it on the cross when He died and rose again. And He gives it to you as a gift. Because He loves you.
If you want to know how to receive it then look at what He says, “For God so loves the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. That’s the price. Pray and admit to God you are a sinner and need Jesus to save you. Ask Him to forgive you for your sins and to come into your life right now. Do this from your heart and God will save you my friend.
