“To him who is able to….present you before his glorious presence…”
-Jude 24
Packed into this little one-chapter letter called “Jude” is a vast wealth of important knowledge for the Christian life. While Jude may be famous for his invective towards false teachers, he also intrigues us by his fantastic Old Testament references, stirs our imagination through his pictures of nature, and awes us by what is arguably the best doxology in the entire New Testament. What becomes clear, however, from the first verse to the last, is that Jude didn’t just contend for the faith, but for the faith of his “dear friends.” He wanted to ensure each of them would be “presented before Christ’s glorious presence without fault and with great joy.” In this series we will study Jude’s words that we too may be “presented” to Christ in the same way.
