Read 2 Peter 1:16–18
Peter declares that the message of Christ’s power and coming is no cleverly invented story. He and the other apostles were eyewitnesses of Jesus’ majesty on the Mount of Transfiguration. They saw His glory and heard the Father’s voice affirm Him. Because Scripture rests on real events and real witnesses, you can trust it completely. Rest today in the fact that your faith is built on solid history, not human imagination.
